Summer Nights
Sandy was alive and full of promise.
Her kiss tasted like strawberry ice cream those summer nights at Spencer Lake. Now, forty years later, I sit on the hood of my car and watch the moon reflecting off the lake’s flat water and I count the memories.
Too many to count; so many lost promises.
