Breaking News! Breaking News?

Just went to Yahoo! and saw a banner across the top alerting me to this hot tidbit of breaking news:

“Rick Santorum reportedly suspending his GOP presidential run”

Am I really to believe that anyone took Santorum’s GOP presidential run seriously enough to the point where suspending it would be considered breaking news?

Or even news?!

I admit to enjoying watching these folks drop out of the race.
