I would like to see all the Philips and Phillips in the world get together and decide on how they want their name spelled. I’ve decided, friend Phil(l)ips, that your collective reluctance to settle on a preferred spelling of your name shouldn’t result in my possibly misspelling your name. Stevens/Stephens, take heed.
