It’s almost 2023 and I just want to say . . .

Happy New Year to you!

I’m not a huge fan of New Year’s Eve for a few reasons, but one of them is that I always get really anxious at the beginning of the new year. I asked the doctor about it a number of years ago and he told me not to worry.

He said it’s just some Auld Langxiety.

I try to entice people who read my blog to leave a comment by promising to give a cookie for a comment and I’m finally making good on that. Thank you all for taking the time to leave your comments and thoughts.

Again, happy new year.

May you be happy.
May you be well.
May you be safe.
May you be peaceful and at ease, free from anger, afflictions, fear, and anxiety.

(I know the technique shown in the photo below is such that one might be led to believe these are gourmet bakery cookies, but they are, in fact, really homemade.)

    “Auld Lanxiety” wins the WordPress!
Good job on those cookies, but now my tongue is blue from licking my smartphone!
Hoping 2023 is a boomerang year, marked by a happy return to more manageable times! 🐧🐒

Thanks Liz and amen to that. Oh, and the blue will eventually wear off. And it’s not like I know that because I ate spoonfuls of cookie frosting or anything like that. It’s just a guess.

        The more you know…
Always, ALWAYS increase sample size when testing your hypotheses! More power.
