The theme this week at Jim’s Song Lyric Sunday is Metal. My song is Bloodsucker from 1970’s Deep Purple in Rock album. Deep Purple is said to be one of the big three pioneers of metal music (the other two being Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin) and they were my gateway band into hard rock and metal.
