Mannequin (85)

February 27, 2022

The first time Seth saw the mannequin move he blamed it on glare off the window. The second time, stress.

The gender-neutral figure, flesh-toned and featureless followed his movement, even though it possessed no eyes. It seemed to smile when he shook his head to say no, this isn’t possible. Turned its head to watch him back away from the window.

The third time Seth saw the mannequin move was just before the aide loosened the strap of the white jacket and raised the syringe.

I’m pretty sure they do move… Good story.
