Conglomerate

June 29, 2021

RDP’s Tuesday word is conglomerate.

When I read this word my mind immediately thought of the word “glom” because I used to know someone who used that word often. “I’m going to glom onto some food”, “I’m going to glom a smoke”, “I glommed some tickets”. The word became an ear worm that’s lasted decades. I guess if I wanted to recognize his frequent and skillful use of the word “glom” I’d have to offer him conglomerations?

An anagram of conglomerate is ‘tamer cologne‘ and I’m guessing that you’ve probably known someone in your life who believed the less tame a cologne is the better the cologne smells.

Another anagram is ‘rent camel goo‘ which might not be a bad business as long as you’re not the person who had to shovel the ‘goo’ and your customers knew they didn’t have to return it.

Is it obvious yet that I have nothing to write about here?

Time to go read what other bloggers wrote. You can do that too if you want. Just click on that first sentence to be instantly transported there.

I dunno; your observations seem more interesting than the others….
