What I Saw Today: 08/17/20

This morning I saw the  Bumblebee Nature Trail. No apiaries here. This is a place where bumblebees come to have fun and par-tay.

For what it’s worth, I did not see any bumblebees. Although I was there early and I’ve heard that bumblebees are considered to be notoriously late sleepers in the bee kingdom (probably because of all that partying?) and they much prefer brunch over breakfast. I think I heard that on an episode of NOVA once, but maybe not; maybe I heard it somewhere else.

Thankfully, I also did not see a can of Bumblebee tuna left by a litterbug.
