What Is It With Costco’s Take and Bake Pizza?
One of the cool things for me about a WordPress blog is the stats. You can look at stats for every post and, among other things like day of the week and time of day, see how many people read the post on the day it was posted, over the last week, the last month, the last quarter, year, or all time.
Back on November 28, 2011 I posted my thoughts after eating Costco’s Take and Bake Pizza. They weren’t pretty. That was four years and eight months ago to the day and whenever I look at this blog’s stats I see my thoughts on that horrendous trashcan lid blob of pseudo pizza has had views. Today, in honor of that post’s 56th month anniversary I looked at the all time stats for that post and saw that it’s had 22,934 views which averages out to about 409 views a month. While that might not be a lot of views considering all the blogs out there in the blogiverse written by people who actually have something to say, for me I think it’s pretty cool. Certainly cooler than that flavorless slab of doughy waste with its fly speck of cheese.
So I’m wondering what is it about Costco’s Take and Bake Pizza that has people finding their way here after 1,671 days?
The reason why I’m blogging now 1/1/17 is that we tried the exact pizza last night. We totally agree with your assessment. Why can’t they make it like the hot slices they serve? Next time, we will buy one from the take out counter….if the price is right.
