Opposites

July 5, 2016

“For every action, there is an equal and opposite criticism.” – Steven Wright.

“On a traffic light green means ‘go’ and yellow means ‘yield’, but on a banana it’s just the opposite. Green means ‘hold on’, yellow means ‘go ahead’ and red means ‘Where the hell did you get that banana at?’ ” – Mitch Hedburg.

“If we truly accepted opposites the world would be a lot a lot happier, a lot healthier and a lot better.” – Me.

To get a really great picture to represent “Opposites” I tried to find a politician since much of what they say is opposite of what they do but I didn’t find one over the weekend, so here are these:

Apples & Apples (saw them at the grocery store)

Apples & Apples

Exercise & Eat (saw them when going to the gym)

Exercise & Eat

Blonde & Brunette (saw them while eating breakfast. Not at the restaurant in the picture above)

Blonde & Brunette

Get Thin & Get Fat (saw them after leaving the grocery store)

Thin & Fat

What’s the opposite of irony? Wrinkly.

Sing along with Mahna Mahna Guy about opposites
