What is going on in the world?

The Islamic State puts a captured Jordanian pilot in a cage and burns him alive. Jordan, in response, hangs two Iraqi jihadists. Fox News, in an article I read online, asks when President Obama is going to “slam his fist on the desk, demand vengeance… and call out the Islamic radicals of ISIS as the animals they are”. (Their words, not my words or my thoughts.)

It’s a big world, isn’t there an option that allows everyone sharing space on it to live together in peace?
