Weekly Photo Challenge: Lost in the Details
This week’s photo challenge: SHARE A PHOTO THAT MEANS LOSTS IN THE DETAILS TO YOU!
I haven’t been taking part in these weekly challenges for a while because I’m unhappy with my camera and I want something new. It’s interesting (to me at least) that it took a photography challenge about ‘lost in the details’ to make me realize that I’m lost in the details of buying a new camera and as a result I’ve been throwing the baby out with the bathwater. So, enough of that, huh? Absolutely, but not until next week because I didn’t have my little revelation until yesterday and now we’re in the middle of some sort of apocalyptic snow storm named Saturn that’s – so far – been a little late in coming, and I can’t balance creative thought with thoughts of terrible, potentially record-setting snow storms.
I did find a picture that means “Lost in the Details” to me and here it is.
Sometimes, between our families, and our jobs, and the crowds at the grocery store and the malls, and the traffic on the roads, and the oil change that’s 1,000 miles past due, and the news, we unconsciously become lost in the details of life and don’t see the beauty in the world, or hear the music all around us that we unintentially drown out.
All opinions on a new camera are welcome! I don’t know that much so I appreciate any input.
too complicated for me as a simple style guitarist …
