“D” is for Day Four

April 4, 2012

This is day four of the Blogging From A-Z Challenge. Where does the time go? It’s not too late for you to start now and if you want to start at “E” you can take over for me and then I can quit. Sort of like an assumable mortgage, only it’d be an assumable bloggage. Ha! Bloggage!

If you get a cold there’s a good chance you’d have a bloggage in your nose.

Day Four: D

Driving to work I had the perfect “D” thought for today. Then I got to work and started to get into my work frame of mind and starting doing some stuff and wouldn’t you know that I forgot my perfect “D” thought for today? So, the new perfect “D” thought for today is…

DUH.

“D” also stands for “DON’T” which is for “Don’t forget to carry a little pocket notebook with you to write stuff down in if you want to remember it later.” I have a little pocket notebook like that but it does me no good if it’s not in my pocket, does it?

That was a picture of my little pocket notebook. As you can see, it’s a Penway and it was made in China which is something I don’t understand. What I don’t understand about it is how it can be cheaper for a place like Walgreens to import little pocket notebooks from China and sell them for less than a dollar than it would be to make and distribute those same little pocket notebooks here in the US.

Anyway, as you can see, it’s a Penway and I have a question for everyone and the person who answers the question correctly will be presented with the some of the world’s loveliest gifts. The question is this: What does a Penway?

The answer to why your notebook was made in China (along with many other cheap ‘Made in China’ items is that someone was probably paid a penny for every hundred things they make!

Lovely pocket book Michael and great post…and regarding your question … I guess it depends on how heavy or big it is. LOL!

Less than an ounce, most of the time.
