Weekly Photo Challenge: Through
The prompt for the Weekly Photo Challenge this week is Through.
This picture isn’t very exciting but I thought I’d add it anyway in case someone hadn’t seen one before. This is called a ‘skyway’ and we have dozens of them in downtown Minneapolis and they connect buildings and you walk through them to get from one building to another. They’re especially useful in the winter. They’re interesting because the corridors leading to and from skyways are filled with restaurants, convenience stores, boutiques, dry cleaners and all sorts of commerce. They’re almost like small cities.
This picture is of stained glass windows taken through regular windows. The building was once the Charles S. Pillsbury mansion and since 1993 has been home to the National Federation of the Blind of Minnesota.
The next picture is aptly titled, “McDonald’s Pancakes: Almost Through”
Also aptly titled is this picture titled , “McDonald’s Pancakes: Through”

Nicely done on the skyway. It’s a bit voyeuristic, no? You can walk through and look through at the same time.

You have several “throughs” in this picture. I see a couple more skyways behind the first one and we are looking through the canyon created by the buildings. Nice post.
