Beware the Almost Ides of March
Seventy degrees on March 14 in the Twin Cities is unheard of. Add to that a canvas of beautiful blue skies and a light westerly breeze and everybody wants to be doing something outside.
Almost everyone.
I’m generally pretty much content looking at nice weather through a window, but today even I was feeling like I should be out there. I tried to ignore the feeling, but my crazy inner voice kept on noodging me – and I’m weak – so I went out. Yes, mom, I wore a hat. I’m walking and thinking how nice it is outside and before my rational mind even has a chance to convince my crazy mind that it’s time to turn around and go back home, a little bug or something flew into my ear.
Wonderful.
Welcome to summer.
You’re kidding right? If not, it’s okay, just cracked me up. So, no time soon will you be strolling through the parks, thankful spring has arrived early. Again, it’s okay….

No, not kidding. I don’t do very well outside so I try to avoid it when possible! But I will be in parks soon because there are so many good pictures to take in parks and by the river.

LOL! Then you won’t want to visit us in the summer with all the muggies. Small, tiny, flying insects and millions of them. When Simba and I walk down to the dam we have to do it with closed mouths. heheheh. What does help for summer insects is Citronella Oil and Lemon Grass oil. I love the smell and they don’t! Enjoy Michael. I can’t wait to see your photographs. 🙂

Sorry to hear you don’t do well outside. But, glad you do go to the parks. Nature is so calming for me. By the way, pizza is my favorite. Where I live it’s hard to find a good place. But, when I do it’s worth the wait. My favorite is Filippi’s in Little Italy, San Diego. If your ever in San Diego California I highly recommend it.

The Ides of March is upon us as I type. We had a nice snow cover this morning. Summer will soon be here … can’t say I’m looking forward to it.

There are 2 reasons why I won’t want to ever move to Minnesota:
1) Snow in winter.
2) Bugs in summer.
Otherwise, I’m fairly certain I’d love Minnesota.

Minnesota is pretty cool weatherwise. For about two weeks a year. I think I’d be better off in someplace like Arizona or northern Florida.
