Observation: Day Five
Observation from day five of being sick:
This sucks.
I’m not sure what I have. On the outside, or to the untrained and non-Google searching eye, it looks like a cold, but I’m personally not sure about that. Right now I’m leaning toward a possible diagnosis of either parainfluenza or respiratory syncytial virus.
I suppose it could be a simply rhinovirus but that doesn’t sound as cool.
Regardless, it’s not pretty.
It’s getting worse now. Typing is becoming… difficult. Maybe have to… I don’t know. Losing train of thought now. Chest is tickling and making funny noises. Could be rare case of demonic or extraterrestrial possession of pulmonary alveolus. First of kind infection and spearhead to invasion of planet Earth. I am… Host Zero… Need more time to determine invader origin but I don’t know how much time I have left.
Eyes burning now making vision and typimg neanly inopissible.

I think you are the only person for whom I would voluntarily click on a link to read a blog about being sick with a COLD. I knew you would make me laugh.
Hope you get to feeling better, and if you are invaded, abducted, or possessed, I certainly hope they leave you with the ability to write.

I think I have that too, typing has also become difficult for mmmeee a nd vis ion a litle blurreee letters llooookk ddoouubbllee and it feels lliikkee people are reading what i write.

I’m sorry you aren’t feeling well, Michael and I hope you get to feeling well very soon. Drink plenty of fluids and maybe some chicken noodle soup, that’s always my favorite when I’m feeling yucky.
