Did You Blog Today?
“Did you blog today?” she asked.
“No, I didn’t,” he said.
“You didn’t! Why not? I was looking forward to it.”
“I don’t know,” he said. “I didn’t sleep well last night and I’m tired and I couldn’t think of anything to write about.”
“Oh, I’m sorry you didn’t sleep well. Well that’s okay. Tomorrow’s another day.”
“Yeah, I know. I’m a little bummed out that I’ll break my streak.”
“So you’ll start a new one tomorrow,” she said. “No big deal.”
“It’s at 38 days. Today is day 39.”
“That’s a long time.”
“I know. And I hate to break it. What should I blog about?”
She laughed. “Oh, don’t ask me, I have no idea. I just read them.”
“That’s no help!”
“Sorry. Okay, how about this: go home and relax and then sit down and blog, Blog, BLOG!”
“I still don’t know about what though.”
“Oh, you’ll think of something, I know you will.”
He did.
