It Snowed Last Night

We got snow last night.
I don’t care, I don’t play golf,
or spend time outside.
Children play and scream,
and they really like the snow.
Can’t they be quiet?
The winter seems long
and it’s only December.
Many months to Spring.
High up in the tree
I see a large flock of birds.
How do they stay warm?

I remember last winter in your neck of the woods! It was horrible and it wouldn’t stop! Hopefully it won’t be that bad this year. We haven’t had one flake yet. But, I do love the snow.
