Groovy
I don’t have much to say, but I think that this week, the last full week of a lousy January, weather-wise at least, everyone should think about the word “groovy” and try and use it in conversation with someone at least one time before Friday.
You can’t use your age as an excuse because groovy is a state of mind and it doesn’t matter if you’re in your 20’s or your 70’s, you can still find something, or someone, to be groovy. I’ll accept that you might be a little bit uncomfortable, so just practice a couple of times in the mirror and you’ll find that in no time the word will slide right off your tongue and sound perfectly natural.
I was thinking about some groovy music and the list could potentially be endless (okay, it wouldn’t be endless, but it’d be really long), so for today I settled on these three songs that I think are groovy. And in the case of Mary Travers, far out.
Let me know your groovy songs.
I have to say that I do use “Groovy” on a regular basis already – ROFL!
