I’m scared

January 5, 2011

Frankenstein is scary. Dracula is scary. The Wolf Man and the Mummy are scary. (I’m talking about the old Universal movie monsters and not today’s movie monsters)

Dark Shadows was sometimes scary.

The irrational feal of waking up one morning to discover the world has run out of pizza is frequently scary.

But none of those old-time monsters, or horror soap operas or catastrophic pizza shortages can hold a candle on the Scariness Scale to what I heard today which is that Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann is not ruling out a presidential run in 2012. This news comes despite Congresswoman Bachmann telling a local reporter three days ago that she is not looking at becoming a presidential candidate.

You can read all about her not taking anything off the table concering her political future here, but take it from me, if you do, be sure to leave the lights on.

Be afraid, be very afraid.
