Loud kids

June 2, 2010

When I was a kid and we acted up we got spanked. No questions asked and it didn’t matter where we were, we got spanked, and as a result, we stopped acting up. Maybe not right away because we needed to test the spanking, or more likely the spanker, but eventually we stopped and behaved. Nowadays, when kids act up, parents do nothing but try and calm their kids down by saying certain things that I can’t hear because the kids are so loud and the kids don’t listen because they’re too excited and as a result they run wild and the parents just sit sit back and smile at everyone as if to say, “See my child? Isn’t he just adorable?”

adorable apparently means different things to different people…from one who has experienced the spanking.

my parents never abused me physically. my dad had a very strong personality and he taught us these manners with simple orders- which we never dared to contradict.

i too think children should be playful but not bothersome.

I am here from Jingle’s Thursday Rally for poets.
    Peace n happiness 4U 4Ever.
